WELP, that makes that 80%, LOL.

so, to keep my word... here's my WTT concert "review." i was too lazy to share info w/ my tweeps (twitter peeps) the night of tho half of em prob didn't care then, nor do they now, BUT like i said... i'm just doing what i said i'd do. SOOOO...

FIRST OF ALL, the nukkas showed UP TWO HOURS LATE w/ no opening act, no dj... NOTHIN' -____- that was NOT cool, but apparently, they did it in every city. i (along w/ vel + danielle) saw it in philly so they were DEF. "nukkas in philly" that night.

our seats were perfecto... we had the first suite so that was cool, but YO... as we PATIENTLY AWAITED their arrival, i turned around and a suite over i saw this SUGH (person who looks DUMB GOOD) + didn't even realize it was mike vick. now SON, i've seen this guy in person b4 + he def. didn't look like he did @ the concert then... *PRAISE GOOD 4 THE ABILITY TO CLEAN UP NICELY* of course he was fly-ish/concert casual, but chileeeeeee... YESSS! idk if i'll EVER say that again + i'm still NOT over the fact that he looked aiit 2 me, nor the fact that he ACTUALLY DID look aiit then, lol. def a *"zamn zaddy" moment* HA.

ok, what else... kanye missed amber that night bc he yapped about her entirely too much to the point that i wanted 2 yell "nukka shut UP!" lmao... jk! ok, no i'm not, but YES, other than that it was dope. i know we all think of ye as the all around "entertainer" but hov is THAT. DUDE. period!!!!! every time i see him live i'm reminded of why he's one of my fave artists of ALL time. out of 5 stars it was a 3.5 experience. surprisingly, it was my first time seeing yeezy perform... he killed, but seemed a but too laxed when i expect performers to SHOW OUT... EVERY time... period! and yea, this was my 11th time seeing jay live (dnt judge) and he killed it, but i dnt think any show will top that '06 electric factory show (str8 up dopeness).

other than that, they ended it by bringing N.I.P back THREE times followed by a random performance of "encore" w/ of course, is the perfect song to end a show. some ppl said they wanted their $ back, but they were obvz being ridic. in conclusion, HOV IS THAT DUDE... the end!

4) i am OBSESSED w/ "good theater." other than GOD, family & friends, there is VERY little that means more to me. it makes me, happy, sad, cry, laugh & remember why i do what i do. luv, luv, LUV!

5) whenever i see/meet a guy, one of the very 1st things i look @ is his sideburns, lol. i like pointy sideburns & beards on SOME ppl, but those square jawns... NO!

6) i love laughing... but who dsnt!

7) i've NEVER been bored. i guess being an only child, has gotten me used to keeping myself active so yea... i've NEVER been bored & i'm not even kidding. this brings me 2 #8...

8) sometimes i RLY enjoy being alone & doing my own thing. i've been blessed w/ great family members & friends, but sometimes i just wna BE ALONE. i think every1 should spend time alone every now & then... itz good 4 ya! ;-)

9) i'm extremely spontaneous, but NOT crazy. i wna bungee jump, skydive & do all that good stuff while i'm alive. i find stuff like that fun!

10) i'm about 2 graduate from college next month & i'm not THAT excited. i'm actually a bit afraid. i work my a$s off & have taken all of the necessary steps to get where i need to be, but SONNNN. i know that i'll be fine in the end, but pray 4 me yallllll. grljvfjvl;nsdimwe;mcsd;!!! :-))

g'lawd every1 has converted to tumblism. i was actually gna start 1 a longgg time ago, but i hardly blog, am tired of fb n only tweet when i feel like it so i already have enough half-a$s social networking going on, lol. i'm just a picture freak so it seemed dope earlier on, but nah son. neway-- i'm back for one of my quarterly post sprees.

i literally JUST finished writing my last paper, have 1 more final in the AM (yeah-- i had a SUNDAY class this semester -___-) & 1 final class on monday & after that... ONE MORE SEMESTER. still feels unreal... i'll hold a BFA this time next year-- ahhhhh.

technological takeover?

itz safe to say that technology has taken over many aspects of a lot of our lives, but hearing things like "soon schools won't have books anymore" on NY news stations irk my soul. why you ask?!! well, 1... numerous schools in the city [& we're only talking about NYC- smh] are closing down & 2... libraries are being SHUT down at an even more rapid pace. i used to work at a theatre company not too ago that had a fabulous outreach/education program which put on shows for both children & adults in the city & i remember hearing about about numerous libraries in the city being shut down.

SO... if boasting about the ipad & the possibility of it being kids' main learning tool then i

challenge them to take a head count of how many kids actually have BOOKS [since they're so fond of statistics] in schools today. don't get me wrong- i understand reporting the NEWS, what's new & hot and keeping up with the times, but realistically a good percentage of students in NYC [lets not even talk about our country as a whole] are behind, can't afford books, don't reading at their standing grade level or have access to LIBRARIES, ya know that place where the BOOKS are, because they're closing down while the mayor is spending MILLIONS on bike lanes. hmmm... bikes vs. BOOKS!

as i said before, technology HAS taken over many aspects of our lives, but c'mon realistically lets not create hype around things that aren't deserving of the energy [double entendre]. until the day comes when i can't go into neighborhood in this city & come across a child "in need of..." i don't want to hear about technology being greater than [because of "the times"] books. i'm so grateful to have had the upbringing, life [so far =) ] and education that i did because i honestly feel bad for children these days. i want them to be familiar with technology [though they all are in some form or another] but i want them to be able to name five books that they've read, LOVED and can hold an intellectual conversation concerning, whatever its topic may be. i miss the days when i knew children were eager to learn about english, history, math & science instead of 'add-ing', 'follow-ing' and relying on the convenience of google.

this is what i heard... 13 year old olivia raymond was charged w/ a felony once her teacher reported her ray-ban sunglasses missing & later found them on olivia's desk. olivia told the teacher that she was not sure who they belonged to & went to her next class with them because the bell rang. once the teacher spotted the glasses on TOP of olivia's books on her desk, olivia was ARRESTED!

now... since they wna treat this little girl like a thief... why would a THIEF leave public EVIDENCE for everyone to see???? now we're gna accuse her of lying and not ask the question that should have been immediately asked?!!! NOT TO MENTION, olivia wears prescription glasses. why would that little girl steal some ray-ban glasses & leave them on her desk for everyone to see & where was she going with being that the child already wears glasses??

i feel like every other thing that i read is about love, ppl yearning for love. i am a very impatient person, but when it comes to 'love' i am the most patient person in the world. i could never jump to be w/ ANYONE "just because" bc 1) i'm not desperate & 2) i KNOW that that would never work with me anyway, lol.

At the end of bad relationship day, what is the most important thing to remind yourselves? Remember marriage is not a contest – never keep a score. i'm not against valentine's day! obviously, no1 should wait for feb 14th to roll around to express their love, but we celebrate everything else so why not celebrate love?! i'll be spending the day with the same two valentine's i have every year-- my parents.

i feel the need 2 get fly being that they're in town. they just inspire me 2 be bc they are such awesome peeps. when i say fly-- i dnt necessarily mean clothes wise. i mean all the way around. get my life together [str8n up, get up at a reasonable time, eat a hearty breakfast-- all that good stuff] n plz dnt get it twisted, i dnt live in a pigsty, at all. they just make me want to be better & cool, like them. real talk!
